Tonight starting around 8pm (11pm EST) Raist will be holding tryouts for the {PM} Scrim Team. (Take 2!)

For these tryouts you must either be a member of the clan or 3/4 done with your Application. Check out this thread for details! Hope to see you there!

For those who have not noticed yet, we are experiencing some issues with the server after the most recent update issued by Valve. We have top men working on it as we speak. Unfortunately we have not yet determined the cause. Fortunately for us we’ve been able to remain full throughout these issues. Thanks for your patience! We’ll have this solved as soon as we can!

2010 is here and we have big hopes for the clan this year! Come by the server throughout the week and check out or specialty nights! Team Kill Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday and Themed Thursday. More to come soon.

Also, check out the donation meter down there on the lower left. You may notice it’s twice the cost of what it takes to run the server. That’s because we are looking to get a 2nd server and that is what it will take on a monthly basis to keep it going. So if you haven’t already, please pitch in a few bucks to help us out. It only takes a little from each person to help the community grow.

Good news everyone! Stats have been reset. No longer will everyone gaze longingly at Vish with well over 20,000 points and wonder what cruel twist of fate allowed that damn fail spy to pwn us all so well! (At least not until he face stabs us all until submission. Again.)

After the SourceMod team pulled off nothing short of a miracle and some tweaking the server is back up with SourceMod fully running. Not sure how stable it all is and there may still be some crashes but at least admins can do their job now.
Game Night is still on! Target has some great games lined up. If you can’t get in, hit up an admin for the password if there is one.

There’s good news and bad news.

The good news is the “Classless Update” is applied and the server is back up. We’re at a full 32 players as I write this. (2 more than we usually allow on the server) The bad news? SourceMod is borked. But they are working on it. Because the SM guys are awesome. Keep playing but know that there’s not much the admins can do at the moment. We’ll get SourceMod working as soon as we can.

We know you. You think we don’t but we do. You are the person so sick
of being berated with terrible game play and over stated rules. You
probably started searching for servers by ping instead of just knowing
you have a place to go to right away. You are sick and tired of being
in the middle of a great game only to have an immature attention
starved loser to come in and ruin it.

Here at Project Mayhem we recognize the fact that you need a fun and
worry free environment to fully enjoy you’re gaming experience.  We
realize that things happen in game play that are out of your hands and
you wish an admin would just step in. Well Here at Project Mayhem we
have 10 fully qualified server admin’s ready to take control.

You might be wondering the type of game server we like to run. We
offer an all talk, spam friendly server. Here you are allowed to play
audible music and sound clips as long as it does not bother anyone in
the server and they politely ask you to stop.  We also offer full
admin support to our players. If you’re having any problems with our
game server or even simple tech problems you can post in our forums
and we will help you out to the best of our ability.

We are a player owned and ran server where there is always room for
improvement, movement and growth. This means if you enjoy our server
you can take up a reserved slot.  If you continue to enjoy your time
here you can apply for Jr. Admin. After that you can go as high as
opening your own Project Mayhem server.

Our hope is simple, that we can all have fun and play a great game. We are an all talk server that allows music as long as you show consideration to other players. We have started this server and community because we needed a place to play that wouldn’t stifle or scare players. We have been part of other servers and community’s and we understand the gamer’s plea to have a place to play a great game along with having fun with other players.

We control the server but do not let that detour you from making suggestions on how we can make it more enjoyable for you. Our only purpose is to moderate and make sure you have the best gaming experience available.
