Greeting to all fellow space monkeys and drifters coming along to our site, somehow, however you got here. Roorl0lw3t here, the newest (and first) Propaganda Committee member bringing you some (semi-new) news!


First off not so much ground shaking news in the TF2 world. TF2 now runs on the Mac, so Mac owners no longer cry in the corner wishing they could play unless they partition Windows on their computer. Now mac owners can cry in the corner from getting owned by all the PC players and the PC vs Mac feud can continue in the TF2 universe. A couple of Q&A on the blog can be found here but that is mostly for Mac owner inquires.


Next is the Portal news! PREPARE THE TINFOIL HATS!!! I wont put too much spoiler info. In case you some how dont play HL2 or more specifically HL2: Episode 2, there was information connecting Portal and the Half Life 2 universe in Episode 2. Much of the steam community already has their tinfoil hats on while they analyze every inch of the game and connect the [imaginary?] dots. Anyway, there is a video showing the new alternate ending. you can youtube it but I will leave the researching to you for spoiler reasons. Anyway, is this pointing at Portal 2 and/or HL2: Episode 3??? All we know is valve knows how to troll the community like a pro. Portal 2 will be in stores sometime near the end of October this year.
While on the subject of portal for those of you who are saying to yourself “portal, that game was EASY!” check out portal prelude, Be prepared to think with portals

I know you all love Duke, so I figured I would post some news on “The Case of the Missing King”. It seems our friend Duke is in the middle of a big legal dispute between the developer 3D Realms, and a publisher called Take-Two Interactive.  In a nut shell.  What happened is 3D realms layed off pretty much their entire staff that was working on Duke Nukem Forever.  They then later closed their doors.  Take-Two filed a lawsuit against them because it seems 3D has no intention of finishing by the given deadline of 2012.  Take-Two wants it’s 2.5million dollars back (plus interest, and all possible earnings leading up to 2012) and is not going to budge.  Though the deadline is 2012, there is a lot of debate whether Duke’s legacy will even continue.  With 3D out of the picture, Take-Two is trying to get it’s hands on the PC source code.  Take-Two says they have the right for the code due to a 2007 contract.  There is more about counter claims, not owing squat until 2012,  ect.  Basically, until they settle their differences Duke is either going to be a big star, or sold dirt cheap to another developer.  One who will hopefully make the game all of us fans have been waiting for.  For the ones out of the know.  We should be seeing something turn up around 2012 or when the case is settled.  I think I speak for everyone when I say I can’t wait!  It’s most likely going to be a console game…….but there is a PC version possible as well!  We can all hope.

{PM} Belle: >:( I just randomly got on PM.
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: There is a homework/application process so some thought must have gone into how and why you wanted to join {PM}?
{PM} Belle: Er wait. Well considering I was a girl, I was told immediately that homework was not required. But being the ball-filled lady I am, I did it.
{PM} Belle: The PM server had, in my opinion, traits of what I wanted in a clan. Such as knowledge of 4chan, silly jokes I dearly love, and how women belong in the kitchen.
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: So can you make me a sandwich or something?
{PM} Belle: I ran out of bread.
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: Awwww… Anyway what’s your favorite/least favorite class?
{PM} Belle: My favorite is the medic…but I’m starting to love the Heavy as well. My least favorite…I guess you could say none? I love every class equally. Contradictory but like I carrrr.
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: Being a heavy must mean you are large target for spies and arrows to the face, such as from me, so how do avoid all the rage that builds up? :)
{PM} Belle: I don’t avoid it. I just let it out like a real woman does. You probably only hear half of my rages, anyway. >_>
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: Another typical tf2 interview question whats your favorite map/map type?
{PM} Belle: My favorite map type is…payload. Favorite map, pipeline. :]
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: Yea payloads pretty much rule in tf2. So how long have you been playing tf2?
{PM} Belle: Let’s skip that question.
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: Can’t remember? Any other games you play?
{PM} Belle: I’ve played a lot of games…some for even 5 minutes. But I guess the main ones are Warcraft III, (truth be told) Maplestory, and Gunbound.
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: Have you found the sword of 1,000 truths yet or any mohawk grenades?
{PM} Belle: No…………..
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: Well they cant trust the sword of 1000 truths to a noob… xD Anyway what makes our awesome server stand out from all other servers?
{PM} Belle: Pfft. I’m not noob. Me of course! Just kidding, it’s probably the kind community (sometimes) and the way our different personalities just balance so perfectly.
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: Hahah i guess that is true tho. who makes you rage the most?
{PM} Belle: Pffft.

{PM} Belle: What do you mean? O_o
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: Like you respawn… Walk out the spawn door then… What happens in the short life before you respawn again
{PM} Belle: I walk out…I look left and right for a spy (most likely Iron or you who stalk me) then I move on and I aim for the goal and die getting there. :] Oh and then I get made fun of for failing.
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: haha can’t forget that part now Belle xD Anyway before this interview goes too far downhill last question. What is your favorite/funniest way to die?
{PM} Belle: In general?
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: Sure why not?
{PM} Belle: Killing more than 5 people a certain way and then getting killed by the same tactic less than 10 seconds later. :P Makes me rage.
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: What would be the same tactic? or the most common tactic to make you rage?
{PM} Belle: Backstabbing someone or sniping someone.
{PM} λ R∞Я γ is l0lw3t: Seems like some of the most common ways i kill you. Anyway and final thoughts/shout outs?
{PM} Belle: If I kill you, take it like a man. :]

Greetings all my lovely Space Monkeys and random people who’ve stumbled on this site without really knowing what you are getting into. (We like to pretend we are important. But, we know better.)

I’d like to let the community get to know a little bit about the people we all share the server with. Those people who we mercilessly frag and gib on a weekly basis. Or those that snipe us from around corners and through walls. I know that you are dreadfully curious about what these people are like and what makes them click. So! I’ve decided to pick 4 random Space Monkeys and have them answer 15 questions each. I’ve then gone through and randomly picked answers based on random criteria that I know will be the subject of debate for years to come. Or whatever. Your first 4 random Space Monkeys are Crashnelms, Dr. Wahwee, Irongears and Regory.

Anyway, on to the questions:

1) How did you get involved with PM?
(Regory) I first found PM back when you were temporarily given the Chicago server. I wasn’t in the mood for 12v12 that day, and logged into the PM server randomly. There were about 2 or 3 other people on the server at the time. I remember Vish and Irongears were on at the time, with Irongears on the opposing team. I remember I loved listening to him rage as I continued to snipe him. Yes, that’s right… I ultimately joined PM because of Irongears.

(Dr. Wahwee) I first got involved with {PM} when swamp monster appeared one day in a monocle next to Raist convincing me to have a spot of tea and play on the {PM} server… except it went more like swamp messaged me over Steam while Raist messaged me at the same time and told me to get on and play NAOW.

(Crashnelms) I been in contact with Wonder Woman from an old server we used to play on and she told me about a new server she was starting up with Yelly. She asked me if I wanted to be apart of it and I agreed!

(Irongears) I got got involved with PM through vish telling me to join the clan.

Okay. Roor here again and this is an effort in order to get out forums active again. Yelly, Zero, Chozo and myself have taken it upon ourselves (oh great…) to get you space monkeys in here and making this a more lively place! I will try to give bi-weekly updates but at least have one update a week (if Yelly doesn’t cancel me) so show your support for me and the {PM} community!

Or if you don’t see something you like start your own thread and see who else likes what you have to say (or troll about it XD)
